WiggoWall - Bradley joins the house band for the SPOTY after-show party

Is there no end to the man's talents? ...

Not content with walking away with the night's big prize, Saint Bradley of Wiggins wasn't about to call it a night after the SPOTY cameras went off. It was back to the after-show party and time for a cameo on stage with the Rick Parfitt Junior Band, bashing out a decent ryhthm guitar line to Oasis' Wonderwall. Probably he'd have preferred something from The Jam back catalogue, but Wiggo knows how to play a crowd. And the chords are easier...

Dave is a founding father of road.cc, having previously worked on Cycling Plus and What Mountain Bike magazines back in the day. He also writes about e-bikes for our sister publication ebiketips. He's won three mountain bike bog snorkelling World Championships, and races at the back of the third cats.

There's a longer and worse shot video here where he plays a Jam song first. Looking at the pic of him after, well I can't play the guitar when I'm that mashed. But then my time trialling is pretty lacklustre too.

A friend of mine was there, and sat near Wiggins. He says Wiggo was pretty far gone before he even arrived.

Good. A sportsman winning the personality award who actually does have a personality.

Just as well that he got a headstart on the rest of the squad and put in an 11 day/ 7 hours per day training block in Mallorca just before Sunday, then 3

Dont think we need to worry too much about Bradders work ethic. When he's on, he's seriously on.
