Boardman, Chris. The only cyclist who mattered when I was young.
Gino Bartali, would have won a great deal more if not for the war. So he decided to help the resistance, since he couldn't ride. Great rider, great man.

My son Finn, 9 years old and pedalled 30 miles last week on a 24" wheeled mountain bike to raise money for a friend to have an operation to walk. His other friend Bailey who ended up doing it as well and only came for a sleep over. They raced the whole way and made me proud pedalling hard to keep up.

Remembering those Channel 4 highlights programmes of Robert Millar winning the king of the mountains a real inspiration. Also tried to use it in an assembly.
