Canyon to sell Ultimate CF SL Disc 8.0 bikes at Yorkshire Worlds - Grab one for £2119

There are just 25 bikes available to take away on the day

If you've been eyeing a new Canyon Ultimate and you'll be in Yorkshire for the World Road Race Championships, then you can go home with a new bike!

Canyon is going to to be up at the race, pitching their tent in the UCI Fanzone at The Stray, Harrogate. They'll also be at The Starling Independent Bar Café Kitchen, so you can celebrate purchasing your new bike with a coffee and a slab of cake.

The bike in question is the Ultimate CF SL Disc 8.0. They'll only have 25 bikes with them and the cost is £2119, a significant saving on the £2349 RRP. They're running a first-come-first-served sale and once they're gone, that's it.

The Ultimate CF SL Disc 8.0 is a lightweight climbing bike that has been kissed by the aero brush. The tube shapes have been made slightly more aerodynamic to help you cut through the wind when riding on flat and rolling roads.

Shimano provides the drivetrain and stopping power in the form of its Ultegra R8020 disc groupset. You get slick mechanical shifting along with powerful and easily modulated hydraulic disc brakes. To help you climb efficiently, the cassette is the 11-30T option.

Wheels come from DT Swiss. Their P 1800 Spline hoops are tubeless-ready, 23mm deep and weigh in at 1675g. These are wrapped in Continental GP4000S II 25mm tyres.

Up front, more aero trickery has been employed with the Canyon H36 Aerocockpit CF saving a few extra watts. A Canyon S13 VCLS CF will help you stay comfortable on the Fizik Antares R5 saddle.

Any saving isnt to be sniffed at when buying a new bike but saving £230 by buying at the worlds in Yorkshire isnt a big saving and isnt any saving at all if you buy from their website

The only real benefit it seems is you can get the bike the same day and watch some racing which would make a nice day out
