We’re at the London Bike Show at the ExCel Centre today to see what shiny new stuff is around, and after a good od browse we've picked out some of the bikes that grabbed our attention. Check out the gallery above and scroll down for some of our top picks... 

New stuff from Mango Bikes

Mango are under new ownership and have been reborn since going into liquidation last year, and the ethos of the new Mango is sticking to what they do best - namely colourful urban and singlespeed city bikes. This frame is actually supposed to be on their Level 2 single speed model, but was accidentally put together with gears so is a complete one-off! Mango's various steel and alloy commuters come in at impressive price points, with most of them coming in at under £500.

T​eam Sunweb Cervelo S5

We've got one in for test at the moment, but here is the Cervelo S5 in all its pro team glory. A full Dura-Ace groupset and deep rims and Team Sunweb colours add up to a super stunning rocket ship of a bike. 

Cervelo P3X

Another from Cervelo, this time the sequel to their barmy P5X tri bike. The P3X has a revamped front end that is supposed to be easier to adjust and pack for traveling, and it's also a bit less pricey than the P5X in its various builds. 

Ribble CGR AL e

Ribble have expanded their e-bike range with two new options that use the Ebikemotion hub-based motor. As with their 11kg SLe e-road bike, you wouldn't think the CGR AL e was an e-bike at first glance. Full story on eBikeTips. 

Rose CPTL

Described by Rose themselves as "a marmite bike", the CPTL has a unique top tube design and has a belt drive for low maintenance simplicity. It also comes with mudguards, a built-in rear light, kickstand and a classy Brooks saddle with matching bar grips. This Retro model comes in at £2,729.

Cannondale SystemSix

Cannondale's long-awaited aero road weapon dressed with Sram's new Red eTap AXS groupset and deep carbon rims... what's not to like? Our first ride review of the bike is here and you can read all about Sram's new 12 speed groupset here. 

Coco-mat wooden bikes

And now for something completely different... these wooden bikes from Coco-mat are really surprisingly light, with the two-speed version coming in at just 17kg. They also come in 7 speed, and there's an e-version of their Odysseus too.

Jack Sexty

Arriving at road.cc in 2017 via 220 Triathlon Magazine, Jack dipped his toe in most jobs on the site and over at eBikeTips before being named the new editor of road.cc in 2020, much to his surprise. His cycling life began during his students days, when he cobbled together a few hundred quid off the back of a hard winter selling hats (long story) and bought his first road bike - a Trek 1.1 that was quickly relegated to winter steed, before it was sadly pinched a few years later. Creatively replacing it with a Trek 1.2, Jack mostly rides this bike around local cycle paths nowadays, but when he wants to get the racer out and be competitive his preferred events are time trials, sportives, triathlons and pogo sticking - the latter being another long story.
