Video: Women's Tour promotional video launched, website follows next month

Less than three months to go till new stage race that will bring world's top female riders to the UK...

With less than three months to go until the inaugural edition of the Women's Tour brings the world's top female road cyclists to the UK, organisers SweetSpot have launched a promotional video in which some of the British riders who will be taking part share their thoughts on the race, which takes place from 7-11 May.

A website is also in the works and will go live next month, giving full details of the UCI HC2.1 ranked race, which will feature 16 or 17 teams of six riders, with invitations going out to the UCI's top 10 ranked trade teams and top five ranked countries as of 10 January.

The five stages have already been confirmed as follows:

Stage 1, May 7: Oundle to Northampton
Stage 2, May 8: Hinckley to Bedford
Stage 3, May 9: Clacton-on-Sea
Stage 4, May 10: Cheshunt to Welwyn Garden City
Stage 5, May 11: Harwich to Bury St Edmunds
