Of course they can. They are literally being paid to do the work. They quit the scheme and stop doing the work....

And it can get even more complicated than that - our scheme is only open for about two weeks twice a year, so you have to get all the moving parts...
They can't even hand bottles out in the pits: they need to be attached to swapped-out bikes....
