The Wheelie Big Cycle takes participants through some of the most scenic parts of the country and for 2018 we have four new routes, including a 100-mile challenge which will take you into Wales and back.
We’re also pleased to announce the return of The Wheelie Little Cycle.
Route details: (24, 40, 58 & 100-miles):
24 miles (minimum age 9 years) – a perfect challenge for families and friends to do together.
40 miles (minimum age 12 years) – for competent cyclists and those looking for a slightly harder challenge
58 miles (minimum age 14 years) – for experienced cyclists
100 miles (minimum age 17 years) – a tough cycling challenge for the more experienced cyclist and for those who have trained for this distance and elevation profile

Important: Cyclists are responsible for bringing:
At least one spare inner tube (the correct type for your bike),
Cycle pump
Tyre levers
Spare lights and batteries.
Halfords bike maintenance
Bike mechanics, from the Hereford Halfords store, will be on hand to help with minor mechanical issues at the start and finish of the event and will also be available to assist cyclists when out on the routes. Parts and spares can be provided and will be charged at retail price, with all proceeds donated to St Michael’s Hospice.
The Wheelie Big Cycle will be photographed and images may be used for publicity.
The 24, 40 60-mile routes will be signed and marshaled.
The 100-mile Wheelie Big Cycle is fully signed, but there will be no event marshals on some parts of the route.
Registration for all routes will be open from 8am. On the day, please ensure that you register no later than 15 minutes before the start of your route to collect your cycle number and event information. Start times for each route are as follows:
100 mile riders – between 8.45am – 9am
58 mile riders – between 9.00am – 9.30am
40 mile riders – between 9.30am – 9.45am
24 mile riders – starts between 10.00am – 10.15am
There will be plenty of places to stop with water and snack stations on all routes.

Pre-entry for all distances closes at 12pm on Friday 13th July.
On-the-day entries will incur an additional charge of £5 per entry.
