It’s just as well that this sportive is held in June – it might take you until the end of summer to finish the exhausting route. Take heed in the name of The Long One, which is self-explanatory – if you’re up for a mega-mile haul then this is for you. If you aren’t, then get training, as crossing the finish line after 125 miles in the saddle will give you the glory of a pro finishing a grand tour stage.
Can't they get the train to Temple Meads and then the Underground for the rest of the journey?
