Tinkering
It's amazing how quickly an hour spent in the garage passes. Very therapeutic giving the bike a once over then removing the old front brake ready for an upgrade.
If only I'd checked that I actually had a replacement brake cable in the spares box before I cut the old one then it would have been productive as well.

Sounds very familiar but as my wife will confirm, an hour usually extends into 2 or even more!
