Ultegra STI Levers and SRAM Force Mechs

Hi
Just asking if there's any reason why I shouldn't use Ultegra 6700 levers with SRAM Force mechs? I know SRAM only recommend using their levers with their mechs but I can't see any reason why Ultegra with Force mechs would be a problem.

Anyone know any better?

Agreed - fronts (left levers) are interchangeable, but one buys and uses them as pairs usually 3

Different pull rations on the rear, fronts are compatible though.

I think they have a different cable pull ratio - Most Sram is 1:1 vs 1:2 for Shimano , from memory. So unless you can find a 'shiftmate' adapter (they do ones from Campag to Shim but not sure on Sram) you're best sticking with one make.
