Wiggle The Long One Sportive
The Hardest sportive in the UK?…. ‘you can judge!’
‘The Long One’ is no ordinary sportive; this ‘Super Sportive’ which is longer than normal taking place in the middle of summer to allow plenty of time for riders to complete the ride. The event has three routes to choose from: Epic 124miles, Standard 81miles and Short 46miles. The 124mile sportive is not for the faint hearted!
Starting from the fully equipped Fontwell Racecourse with enhanced indoor facilities and showers, the course takes in some of the best climbs and quietest roads the North and South Downs has to offer.
With nine major climbs and five other significant climbs, completing this sportive could be your seasons crowning glory! This is a great event to set as a goal to focus your seasons training on.
Now in its 5th year and with over 1000 riders attending in 2013, this classic summer super sportive is a must.
Better to keep your mouth shut and people think you're a prick than to open it so that people know you're a prick
