Lille - Cyclists authorised to go through reds. (well, some reds)

In French I'm afraid but interesting: the City of Lille has decided to experiment with allowing cyclists to go through some red lights.
The odd thing for me is that it only includes 50 sets of lights - so likely to lead to confusion and more accidents on those lights that aren't included?
