Winter Gloves

I was out at the weekend and for the first time this summer my fingers were getting a bit nippy in track mitts, I reckon its almost time for full finger gloves...
I've got some full one really cold weather gloves its the inbetween cool weather bit that I struggle with. I need some light, thin proper good road gloves. I had some really good light Nike windproof gloves but they are looking very tatty.
Has anybody got any recommendations?

I just wear a pair of liners under my mitts to keep the chill off.

I use Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 Windstopper gloves for chilly days (just looked and they are £40 - bit steep!). I cant fault Gore Gloves - survived a 30mph spill and are generally superb. For full winter I use
Altura gloves. I've ridden in -15. They are so good I took em skiing.

I'm still wearing mitts, I really don't like fullfinger gloves until its really really cold.

I also have long fingers and often find gloves uncomfortable.

The best cool-weather gloves i've found are a real cheap option - the Planet X Thinny. £5, great soft gloves.

I would personally not recommend their own-brand £5 winter cycling glove, much too sweaty - except if you're using it to drive not cycle! I wore mine when i had to drive to work two winters ago.
