SPD CLEAT ADAPTOR shimano smsh40

HI all

Just letting those that don't know about them I've found some cleat adaptors for spd cleats to make walking easier, I went spd sl and like some I didnt like the single sided entry and sometimes difficult clipping in, now personally Ive found the perfect solution, they also spread the load over a larger area of the sole of the shoe now.

That's interesting, thanks, it means I could potentially consider a pair of road shoes, even with my SPD pedals. Something to think about next time I'm looking at shoes.

Actually, if anyone catches me looking at shoes, stop me, I already have too many.

Or get some MTB / CX shoes?

Seriously, don't those cleat adaptor / protector things just wear down?

I ride SPDs everywhere, never felt the need for SPD-SL, for me the ability to walk at my destination is the clincher!

You can get some really good CX / MTB shoes now which don't scream "MTBer"; I just picked up some bontragers in WSD:
