Cadence magnet a slightly better solution

Hi everyone
I replaced my pedals the other day and in the process had to remove my garmin cadence sensor, once removed it loses it stickiness and even when tied to the crank arm wobbled and on my first ride out I lost it.
Whilst looking for a sensor I found this its a really elegant solution and fits well .

Yep, agree with Bagpuss. I have a small neodymium (rare earth magnet - very, very strong) on the back of my pedal axle. Works very well indeed and near enough invisible.
Neodymium magnets are really cheap and available online in all sorts of places (including the usual eBay and Amazon).
If you look on eBay you'll find a magnet that will sit on the inside of the pedal axel, usually a bit cheaper than that and even more elegant. I've been using one for more than 12 months now, it's so strong that getting it off when I replaced pedals was a right pain.
