Bike repair

Hi can anyone help?ive a specialized allez,when i spin the cranks the rear wheel is not moving.the chain is going through and cranks run smooth but no movement.ive checked another wheel and that is working,what is wrong with the wheel and how do i repair?

Yeah it should be an easy fix for a bike shop and the link above while help you decide if you could do it yourself. It could be something really simple or it could be the whole hub/freehub connection.

I'd pop along to a bike shop, even though I can take a bike to bits and rebuild it. I'd let them do it  3

If you are a bit of a spanner monkey you can do it yourself, with the tools, here’s a link for you all about them.

Failing that there will be videos on youtube showing you how to do it or your LBS mechanic will sort it for a fee. The freewheels themselves are relatively inexpensive.

Sounds like a freehub/cassette issue.

So the chain will spin right round, moving the cassette and still the wheel doesn't move?

If thats the case, your freehub is shot
