getting track bike to Herne Hill

I want to pick up my training and start heading to Herne Hill for Monday evening training sessions, but I can't ride my track bike through rush hour with no brakes, and ideas on how I can get my bike down there?

I am thinking cheap bike trailer (for my commuter) mixed with a bike rack for a car, anyone tried this before?

Lots of guys just fit a front brake (if your fork will take it) so you can ride there, then just remove before hitting the track.

If you can't fit a front brake it's a little more tricky. You could leave it there in one of their secure storage containers, and ride your regular bike over there?

Keirin clamp on brakes might help, then you can ride to Herne Hill.....
