Why under the 'competitions' panel are the Spring Classics just one competition?
This is definitely the case, and as it is just one competition, the competition as whole comprises the 7 classics in the game. it is a bit impractical to expect people to be able to pick teams for races at the end of april with no startlist, so would basically be picking on a whim, which is one of the reasons why all 7 classics are split regarding being picked as purist

as a purist you can make changes in any unlimited window. there are three in the spring classics
Wait, what? I can pick a team for M-SR, then one for each of the next three and it's still ok for the purist league?
Cool. But wow, what a lot of time I wasted picking a team for all seven!
