The GSD Giant sweeps through the picturesque lanes of West Sussex and Hampshire in support of a locally-based charity, the AGSD-UK.
Setting out from the magnificent Goodwood Racecourse the route circumnavigates the South Downs between Petworth in the east and Droxford in the west; passing through some of the prettiest villages and hamlets the South of England has to offer. It passes by green rolling pastures, ancient woodlands, river valleys and wetlands all within one of Britain’s most accessible breathing spaces, the recently designated South Downs National Park. You’ll experience an exhilarating and challenging sportive and be helped to recuperate afterwards with hot food and refreshments.
The registration process has been massively simplified this year thanks to feedback from last year’s event. Raising sponsorship for the charity remains optional but fundraising cyclists are given a generous £10 discount on the entry fee.
Three routes are available: 104, 76 and 44 miles, fees range from Free (fundraising under 16 on the 44 mile Demon) to £30 for the 104 mile Giant
