First time as a purist and quite enjoying it might go the whole hog and do it for TdF !

Did rather better than i thought, mind you only had Swifty in today but my team is sort of stacked for the more hilly stages and breakaways.

I wasn't intending to take this one seriously, but got lucky with my cheap DS guys in the prologue and find myself in the top 10 (yes I'm getting dizzy...), so may as well give it a go. I agree that Sagan's closest challenger tomorrow could be Rojas, but I wanted to bring in Rui Costa for the all-but-guaranteed GC points, so don't actually have Rojas myself...

I'm back, playing this as I did the Dauphine as a purist, just because I don't have the time nor the inclination to watch the race or study riders 4

Had Sagan, Rojas and Haussler. Thought about Freire and GVA so I wouldn't have had much difference either way.

Final km profiles and detailed finish maps are in the tech guide under the media section of the TdS website if you want to do that much research.

Thanks. Yes, found it. Couple of tricky turns at the end tomorrow as well. As there is no other race on I'm going to play this one with transfers as I've started now. Pretty awful so far but so it seems is nearly everyone else.

Had Sagan and Rojas, I actually thought about cooke yesterday but thought it may suit albasini, how wrong i was, nevermind. Unsure what to do for tomorrow, sagan and rojas could be at the finish due to how far out the big climb is.

Apart from Sagan I got no-one. Boonen and Freire not bothered. Didn't realise it was such a tricky finish or I would have put someone else in. Have to look at the finish a bit more carefully next time.

1 Sagan
2 Cooke
3 Swift
4 Guarnieri
5 Allan Davis
6 Hutarovich
7 Mondory
8 Farrar
9 Colli
10 Burghardt
Very tight and slippy last km, so not all the top sprinters were going full-pelt, could be different tomorrow...

Sagan! Who'd have thunk it...

Baden Cooke second, and Swifty third.

And less than 30 secs now with 10k left. Looks like a sprint unless someone nips off the front on the descent...

Update from 55 km out
"It is still raining and streets are in wet conditions. The peleton just got stopped by a railway crossing!

The leading trio will certainly profit by this situation. The peleton was split into two parts due to the closing of the railway crossing. Some riders including the maillot jaune could pass the railway crossing.

The first part of the peleton mainly containing Movistar and Liquigas riders just got stopped as they have passed the railway crossing under irregularly conditions!"

Break still away, 11 minutes with 80k to go, the peleton still hasnt started the chase but will shortly I would imagine.

Cool, no dangermen and no KOM points on offer til much later, so should be a fairly leisurely next 100k for the peleton...
