Yeah, I saw everyone on the beach.

Sleeping, swimming, barbecues, The Ship Inn.

I had a great time on the dun run, lovely watching the sun slowly brighten the world. Odd riding at 2am and thinking I've 60 miles still to go. Long bike repair on friends hub geared bike meant for lots of standing about in the cold, though cheesy chips helped...

If you are in London you should give it a go next year, fabulous atmosphere on the beach too.

There was a noticable tail wind at the start although very blustery, but it kind of died off during the night. I like night riding because of its general stillness.

Lack of sleep is not a positive though!

It was perfect. The weather held off, it wasn't too cold and I didn't fall asleep mid ride. Great Success!

I feel sorry for those that were intending to get the train to Ipswich - sounds like the queue was pretty big for the train... The train which is only two carriages and runs every two hours!

I was a lucky one who knew people that lived near by and managed to get the tandem onto a roof rack (with a bit of ghetto modding).

So, this is tonight/tomorrow.

Good luck everyone.

I'm not doing it, but I'll probably cycle up from Aldeburgh to survey the damage 4

Dredging this up

I'm thinking of doing this, being based in Suffolk, it would be a great way to get up sans car.

We could get a road.cc team
