I think Dr Hutch put forward the best explanation for leg shaving - it's tradition, and we all know how hard it is to argue against tradition 1
I don't shave in winter even though I don't like the look of my hairy legs, but who else knows and it saves a lot of faff in the shower

Of course it just for looks.

The road rash argument falls down on the fact that the hairs will grow as the road rash heals so you'll have the same issue.

Unless you're having daily massage the only good reason is so you look Pro.

Just like the gargoyles at the top of Notre Dame are ad maiorem Dei gloriam.

So yes of course you should keep doing it. You will know, and you will be ashamed of yourself.

And yes jeans, and sheets do feel a bit weird afterwards, although I suspect some people do it for that 19

I find wearing a pair of jeans after you've shaved your legs feels really weird. anyone else noticed this?

Yes, didn't like it. Felt like trousers were sticking to my legs when I walked up stairs.

Also had problems with in-growing hairs, so gave up on leg shaving.

It's just for looks; trust me. Basicaly when you put embrocation etc on your legs flies and muck stick to the hairs and it looks a mess. Have thought about it for many years and have never heard a convincing arguement for shaving. Bald legs and a kilt...what a thought Gkam84

If you have shaved legs gravel rash is easier to clean and plasters dont hurt as much when ripping them off the injured area 19
