cycling in Holland with two young kids... in November

maybe I'm crazy but... planning to use ferry/train/bikes with child seats for a circuit of Dutch cities in Late November for 5 days.
Anyone done this? ideas, suggestions, advice???

Cycling in November can be ok, but if it's windy it will be bitterly cold. There are quiet routes in-between cities, and major roads tend to have dedicated cycle paths. We have to have liability insurance but I'm not sure if you will need it, or have to have it. Motorists are very cycle aware, which is really nice.

Here's a couple of links you might find useful...

funnily enough I was reading this in the Guardian only today...

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/bike-blog/2011/oct/27/bike-blog-go...

which may contain something of interest, especially the legal aspects (although to be honest once you're on the ground its pretty obvious)

Personally speaking Holland is the best (most cycle-friendly) place I've ever ridden, although I'm not sure I'd do it in November, the weather was bad enough in August.
