What's on this weekend

If the weather forecasters are to be believed we're in for a scorcher of a weekend. What better way to get out and about in the sunshine than to attend one of the plethora of cycling events taking place around the country this weekend.

Here are a few for you to choose from but check out the details on the websites if you want to take part as not all will accept entries on the day. Remember to take the sunscreen with you, although you won't need it for the first event on our list, the Edinburgh Nocturne. The inaugural event will take place around a circuit in the Grassmarket area of the city, featuring some of the UK's best pro cyclists.
