Summer bikes? Maybe not yet - #mycyclingweeekend

This #mycyclingweekend we saw all sorts of bikes, even bikes that don't roll, but perhaps it was a little to early to put those winter bikes away...

On Friday, alongside Cycle Surgery, we asked all of you to show us the bikes you're riding this #mycyclingweekend. We even questioned whether it was time to start rolling out the summer bikes!

We were wrong. It was a little bit early.

As you can see from this week's #mycyclingweekend winner's bike, the elements were far from forgiving.

Instagram user Felixkcc called this "filthy bike porn."

We like what we see, Felix, but we're not sure our feelings go much further than distant appreciation. Don't expect us to get intimate.

Young Phoagy on Twitter didn't take to the roads this weekend. He was on an entirely different type of bike: a static one.

Obviously, stationary don't quite carry the same thrill as our wonderful mobile ones, but we hope you got some decent data!

Taking full advantage of the changeable weather was Instagram user almerobarnard who sent us this shot on the Welsh moorland of Gelligaer Common.

These guys weren't alone this #mycyclingweekend. Some of you caught some exceptionally summer weather, others put in some serious work to meet their weekend goals.

Here's a selection of our other favourites from the weekend:

Remember, it's never too late to get involved in the #mycyclingweekend fun. Just pop a photo on Instagram or Twitter and attach the #mycyclingweekend and #CycleSurgery hashtags!

80 miles in the wind totally broken.  A Granny on  a shopping bike would have been faster at the end.

Wind and dog walkers everywhere plus overdressed, riding 15 miles felt like 50, thighs still aching.

Roll on April.
