SMIDSY
This morning I got my first SMIDSY of August.
On my usual commute down a semi-busy urban Warrington road, no cycle lane but with traffic calming humps, I spotted an old guy approaching from a side street. We made eye contact, yet he still kept coming.. The flowing traffic was no deterrent as he took the left turn without giving way.. His lack of speed and a handfull of Avid disc-brake saved me from pinballing into the Mondeo at my side, who's stunned driver had a few choice words for the old guy.
Now I've been told: "Sorry Mate I Didn't See You!" by many an old driver, but it's the first time to hear it from a fellow cyclist!

You're right--that was the other one. The relevance is that people keep complaining about how damaging the platform is, yet they carry on using it.
