Election free zone...

Is anyone else bored with blatant electioneering already ?

The comedy value of politicians is always high but during election time it becomes all serious and you have to choose one that you might want to vote for.

This is much more difficult than at other times when you can have a giggle at their moats and duck islands and 'specialist films' appearing on their wives hotel bills.

I want to dedicate this thread to people who want to pop in and vent their spleen about something other than...

(*) Cameron
(*) Brown
(*) The other fella
(*) Coalitions
(*) Chumps

So I will start by asking...

Are Weetabix getting less tasty and smaller?

It is a national outrage if so.

So are we talking stuff like Mars bars then? I hadn't noticed a shortage of large bars of choc in the shops. I may, or may not 39 be sitting here with one in front of me now - bearing in mind obviously that I'm a well honed athlete of course.

Shocking... the chocolate fans in our office have migrated onto Freddo's.

Sainsburys were selling standard mars bars for 20p the other day...the whispers and emails around the office spread like wildfire!

Not sure about the Chomp! That sounds like crazy London prices to me… but re the Weetabix question - did notice in the Coop the other day that they were doing an enormous box of Weetabix for £2 which made me momentarily ponder how they could squeeze so many in.

I hadnt noticed about weetabix but I am appalled that a chomp now costs 17p!!! Add to that they have scrapped 'king size' chocolate bars for the abomination that is 'duo'. If I want a big chocolate bar I would buy a king size, not two small ones.

Two small ones are like two disappointment, just incase one doesn't make you cry, there's another one.

Long live the Queen and King size bars!
