Josie Dew London talk rearranged date confirmed

Globetrotting cyclist to speak in support of Sustrans

Sustainable transport charity Sustrans has announced details of a rescheduled talk in London by Josie Dew.

Although she has ridden across six continents, the long-distance cyclist and author was unable to make the original date as Britain became swathed in a blanket of snow, and her place was taken at short notice by London bike courier turned round-the-world cyclist, Julian Sayarer.

Josie’s journeys have seen her cover more than 350,000 miles – that’s the equivalent of doing the Tour de France 150 times – and she has written a series of books recounting her adventures.

The rearranged talk will now be held on Friday 26 February at the same venue, The Gallery, 70 Cowcross Street, EC1M 6EJ, close to Farringdon station, with doors opening at 6pm for a 6.30pm start, and tickets, costing £7.00, are available from the online Sustrans Shop.

Refereshments will be available on the night, with all proceeds benefiting Sustrans, and the talk will be followed by a question and answer session.

Sustrans says that previously bought tickets are still valid for those who did not attend the Julian Sayarer talk.
