Grand départ
Ok. Great! The roads are crowded. Selfies are uploaded. And Yorkshire is awesome.
But frankly out here - I am neither brit nor french - it seems to me that every possible piece of the tour has been named and sold… There's even a touch of nostalgia as if the tour had been here forever… as if Walt Disney would rewrite the tour. There's no such thing as the Grand Depart over several days! There's only one start and one final finish line!
French people are chewing gum when pronouncing Yorkchaire and english speaking people should forget about the Grand départ - that was the day before yesterday (avant-hier)! It's the "grande boucle".
