Recommend me a... jersey

I'm looking for a short sleeve road (or XC) jersey, with the usual back pockets and a zipped valuables pocket. Problem is that I'd prefer a half zip rather than a full one, and I'm struggling to find this. Anyone any recommendations?

Thanks,

Andy

Anyone have a Santini Wool Heritage jersey? I know it doesn't quite meet the need for a valuables pocket...

Foska do some nice jerseys with 2/3rds zip, nice material and plenty of colour/design options. Not too expensive either.

I prefer half-zip too, not a fan of the Tommy V flapping in the breeze look.

My 'best' jersey is the Howies short sleeve - it's circular knit and outlandishly comfortable.

Why not the full zip?

Just prefer a half zip. No other reason.

Vulpine button jersey?

I've got the some Vulpine polos, some short sleeve v necks and some long sleeve T's and all of their merino is lovely

I got a Rapha lightweight expensive but nice, Howies do a basic range of jerseys which are good only two pockets at the back though with an iditional 3 zipped that is despite the small zip quite cavernous. also like the look of the Morvelo stuff.

I ordered a jersey from PBK - order cancelled. They did have the same jersey in blude, but much more expensive, not in the "sale stock" and so wouldn't fulfil the order with that item.

They then sent me an email saying they hoped I was enjoying my purchase, and would i also like these items... The suggested products included another jersey at a great price - when I searched for it on the website it was no-where to be seen. The following week I got the same email, but the non-existent jersey had increased in price by £4, and was still nowhere to be seen.

I now view anything from PBK with very low expectations!

I recently got a Rapha Lightweight Jersey as a birthday present and I'm pretty impressed (it has 2 zip up pockets on the back). All my other jerseys are Large, as is the Rapha, but it's way more 'fitted' and has more stretch (should be, given the price!). The other jerseys all have a little bit of loose cloth somewhere but if you drop a size they're usually uncomfortable. As the Rapha was a present I haven't tried an XL, but I'm a Large on their sizing chart and, as I'm told, a good cycling jersey should be nice and snug (possibly slightly unflattering depending on physique!). Rapha have probably got me 'hooked' now and I'll have to resort to petty crime to fund my habit.

Planet X Clubman Jersey, £20, half zip, 4 pockets (3 open, 1 zipped) comfy, any colour as long as it's red, white or black.

I just bought exactly what you're looking for, so hopefully you like my recommendation which is the Polaris Fletcher Jersey.

Nice fit, and a decent price.

Look at the Torm range - a cheaper but excellent alternative to Rapha (v expensive). Even though it is made of merino wool it is not too hot. Wore it today for a 6 hour event and was not overly hot.
