compatibility question

I'm looking at a set of Mavic Kysrium Equipe S wheels from ProBikeKit & noticed they are compatible with Shimano 11 speed Dura Ace.
I have 10 speed Shimano 105 & I'm wondering if they are backwards compatible & will it need a spacer?
I currently have a set of Shimano R500 wheels that need a spacer for the 10 speed cassette, are all spacers equal?

No probs fitting a 10 speed 105 cassette! You'll need to run the 1.75mm Mavic spacer along with a 1mm spacer.

Ride safe and enjoy!

Hiya! No Dura Ace for me I'm afraid - strictly plebeian 105 for me!
So, am i right in understanding that Mavic hubs will accept Shimano 105 10 speed cassettes? Getting confused now, MTB 's are difficult enough!

Hey up muddy!

A quick google suggests that 10 speed Shimano hubbery isn't compatible with 11 speed. You could check out further, but I think Shimano are not compatible.

Mavic are though.

...and look at you with your Dura-Ace 11 speed!

All spacers are not equal.

Ask the Rapha users how much better theirs are. 3
