Video: Cannondale launches film series giving backstories of Peter Sagan and team mates

Chronicles of the Green Machine will look at how stars got involved in cycling and what they do off the bike

Cannondale Pro Cycling is launching a series of videos that will delve into the background of its riders, explaining how they got involved in the sport and what they do when they’re off the bike.

Called the Chronicles of the Green Machine, the videos will be released throughout the 2014 season. Here’s a teaser.

In the description of the video, Cannondale says:

These are the stories of Cannondale Pro Cycling. An eclectic blend of artisans, musicians, entrepreneurs and visionaries who have chosen the noble road of professional cycling, but each with a very different path in how they eventually made it into the pro peloton. Get to know the family – Peter [Sagan], Ivan [Basso], Elia [Viviani], Moreno [Moser] and friends - their personalities and passion before life on the bike in this series of true stories coming to you throughout the season.

You can find previous videos from the team here.
