TDU Stage 5
Must be my turn to start one of these. I've got the top 5 bookies favourites (co-incidence - there were no odds for the stage when I picked my team). I intended to to keep a transfer for the last stage, but blew it on today's in the (possibly vain) hope of a 750 point badge. Still, at least I've got my first podium badge of the season - it took me months last year.

By the way, is it just me or have Drapac had a pretty torrid home tour? Expected more from Cantwell and the various I Can Haz Sulzbergers.

I've gone all-in on for the final stage: three Big Name Sprinters (plus one cheaper guy who's been doing well). Thankfully no penalty points incurred, so with a bit of luck should get something out of the last stage.
However...
Will I regret having no Aussies among the fast men? I'm hoping Goss and Renshaw have no-shows tomorrow...
209 points, after 20 pts penalty, and slid back 2 place on forum scorum's! the standard is high this year!
Not bad; 1,2,3,4,6 and 10. Looks like moving to Premium is paying off.
208 points, 316 on stage and moved up 489 places.
After 3 years finally getting the hang of this
211 with no pens and still got hammered by TER with 20 pens in the W Mids league. At least I got my 750 badge.
199 after a 20 point penalty. 2nd day running missed out on full house badge by 1 rider ( moreno rolled in 21st)
but green arrows again so very happy overall 
196 after a 10 point penalty plus a full house badge. Gone up a few places so not bad i suppose.
Well I managed 200 points exactly, 441st on stage
Wig got 23rd, missing Impey
LOTS of high scores today. Foolishly went for Thomas over Porte and paid the price.
Incidentally, I'm sure I did worse, relatively speaking, last year - but finished higher. Are there waaay more people playing?

No kidding. 170-odd points and I went backwards. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I'm bringing in a Van Poppel.
1,2,3,6,10,11.....Top 5 + Thomas on GC....top 5 in points comp....2,3,5 in KOM plus mountain bonus for Domont and team-mate bonus for Thomas looks like 200pts+ exactly(haven't got that badge yet!!)
No penalties.
Should be enough to stay top of Forum's Scorum's and i'm delighted that my first 50/50 decison between Porte and Gesink came up trumps!!
