Forum competition: pick a 3.0 rider...
Just a thought for an off-the-cuff contest for us forum types - each 'adopt' a rider currently rated 3.0, and track them through the season. Whichever rider has the highest aggregate fantasy points at the end of the final race of the season wins (or rather, the person who picked them does).
The deadline for picking has now passed, so here are your riders:

Looks like he's pencilled in for Oman,The Ronde and Paris Roubaix though.....maybe he'll pick up teammate bonuses when Schleckster wins all three LOL

OK, to clear things up a bit. My brain obviously wasn't in gear - when I said 'score' in OP, I actually meant 'value'. The idea being that you'd have to strike while the iron was hot . So, if, after a few good races, your riders value rose to 12.5 and you thought their value would be likely to drop later, you'd post the value here while they were at that price. But if, say, you got ahead of yourself and posted your limit of three times and later in the season their value improved even further, you'd have to go with the highest value (presumably the third) you'd posted.
However, that's probably a bit complicated. Total fantasy score at the end of the season is perhaps the way to go, nice and simple.

Pretty difficult to know who's leading due to the nature of the 'rolling 12 month score' within the site so i'm trying to assist(plus I get a bit bored at work sometimes!!).
I might miss one or two scores but the general idea is to try and show who's going well THIS season

Ghedebrav set a deadline of End of the TDU so.......last chance guys....still some decent riders left including San Luis stage winner Arredondo.....Mederel,Bernaudeau and Pichot who could reasonably be expected tpo feature in the TDF....Young Italian climber Cattaneo etc!!

Persoanlly that should be it for people joining "unless" they pick someone on zero points and no switching halfway through.
I have no problem with new joiners BUT they should be forced to pick someone who has scored no points and is worth 3 credits as at the start of the season.
I think it's easier to close it to be honest.....deadlines were given plenty of times
Shall we agree to let Ghedebrav make the final decision as it was his idea ?
Im sure I read somewhere he had said the end of TDU?
