Bags
Lezyne Caddy Sack
This neat little waterproof pouch from Lezyne makes it easy to keep those essential oddments in the right place.
Lezyne Messenger Caddy bag
This burly courier bag from Lezyne is full of neat touches and is well put together to boot. You can fit a decent load in it and your kit will stay dry too. It's not at its best when overpacked but for medium sized loads and the daily commute it's a hard-wearing workhorse.
Altura Speed seatpack
This is a pretty straightforward seatpack that securely straps in place around your saddle rails and seatpost with easy-to-use Velcro fastenings. Our medium sized version (£14.99) swallows up a spare inner tube, multi-tool, puncture repair kit, tyre levers and even an 18cm mini-pump without much trouble – in other words, all the gubbins you’re likely to need to keep you on the road.
Knog Dry Dog 13 inch pannier
There's a lot of 'form over function' criticism levelled at Knog for some of the Australian manufacturer's more esoteric gear. It's rarely a gripe that applies to their bags though, which are some of the best constructed and well thought out luggage out there, and the Dry Dog is no exception. An excellent quality waterproof pannier with an integral laptop sleeve and some clever detailing, the Dry Dog is certainly a bag you can grow to love.
Agu X-Rain 850 panniers
With the wonderful weather that we enjoyed over summer and winter looming on the horizon these waterproof panniers from Agu will be just the ticket for keeping your kit nice and dry, whether you are commuting or on tour.
BikeBins box pannier
I am someone whom racks up a good number of commuting miles and I am constantly looking for new and innovative forms of bike luggage. For a rider who has carried everything from a laptop to papers and even a child's hobby horse, the Bikebin is an interesting luggage option.
Moore Large Large seatpack
Looking at Moore Large’s own brand seatpack, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d travelled back in time some twenty years. There’s no LED tab, a single, expandable compartment and very basic nylon construction but it remains serviceable enough for budget conscious riders needing a big pack.
Outeredge Small Double pannier
Outeredge’s small panniers are just right for light loads, club runs and seatpost mounted racks like the ETC with pannier frames. However, while having some nice touches such as rain covers and surprisingly effective mounting kit, they’re not tough enough for regular commuting, let alone touring.
Outeredge Triple Pocket seatpack
Thanks to reassuringly solid construction, nice detailing and competitive pricing, Moore Large’s Outeredge branded three-pocket wedge pack will suit budget conscious road and mountain bike riders seeking well-organised and relatively capacious under saddle storage.
Basil Bassimply basket
Featuring a super-sturdy handlebar bracket that greatly reduces unsightly and annoying scratching of head tubes and handlebars coupled with genuine 5 litre, 5 kilo carrying capacity Basil’s Bassimply basket has to be one of the most practical and arguably likeable I’ve encountered. However, while convenient, it seems pricey compared with a single utility pannier and heavier loads can negatively impact upon handling.
