Summer jersey
Castelli Velocissimo Team Jersey FZ
Castelli produce a vast range of jerseys and choosing the right one can be tricky, but I reckon the Velocissimo Team Jersey FZ is one of the nicest, with simple graphics that should appeal to most people's aesthetic sensibilities. And the fabric works brilliantly to keep you dry on hot and potentially sweaty rides.
Craft Active bike Logo jersey
This Craft Active bike Logo jersey is a classic race jersey that comes highly recommended for summer runs.
If you've watched pro cycling in recent years you've probably seen Craft's kit in action. They're currently the chaps covering Fabian Cancellara's modesty and I'm sure the King of the Classics doesn't wear any old schmutter.
Cervo Rosso Corsa S3 jersey
The Cervo Rosso Corsa S3 is a close-fitting jersey for the warm weather.
Cervo Rosso certainly make some stylish clothing. Check it all out on their website. The range isn't vast but it covers pretty much everything for the performance-minded cyclist, and they have an urban range too.

Tenn Outdoors Sprint S/S Cycling Jersey
Tenn are an outdoor clothing retailer who sell mainly through non-specialist outlets like Amazon and Halfords. I've been less than kind about their mitts, which I'll be reviewing soon, but this jersey is much better.
The first thing you need to do is ignore the RRP. Tenn will sell it to you for £38, but Amazon list it at £16. That's a proper bargain.
It's not a flashy top - ours came in plain blue and black. It doesn't scream WANNABE PRO! at the top of its voice, which is nice.
Craft Elite jersey 2012
Craft's Elite range is the clothing line used by their ProTour teams: RadioShack and Rabobank. Here we test the Elite 2012 Jersey, a short sleeve at the pinnacle of jersey design - but cutting edge doesn't come cheap.
Northwave Blade Jersey
Designed to partner with the shorts from the same 'Blade' range, this short sleeve jersey from Northwave is a Spring/Summer option but heavier material density on the chest errs more on the side of insulation than breathability.
Pearl Izumi Ultrastar S/S Jersey
The Ultrastar is part of Pearl Izumi's lower-end Select range of products, aimed at the mass market cycling consumer. It's a casually styled jersey, straddling the road and MTB markets, with plenty of features.
Pearl Izumi Elite Ltd Jersey
From Pearl Izumi's mid-range Elite collection (rather than the high end P.R.O and the more entry level Select), the Ltd Jersey aims to be a combination of high performance features with an eyecatching design for the dedicated road rider.

Castelli Prologo jersey
The Castelli Prologo HD jersey is a highly breathable option for the warm weather.
Like most cycling jerseys these days, the Prologo is made from polyester but the Stratus fabric is a little unusual in that it's highly textured. It's a closed mesh and only the raised sections on the inner face actually touch your skin, the recessed bits being held off the surface slightly.
Etxeondo Trier Jersey
The Etxeondo Trier is a high-quality summer jersey with some neat features.
It's made in Spain from Meryl Microfibre fabric – fine nylon and elastane. This is lightweight stuff and very stretchy so you get a body hugging fit without it feeling at all tight. I like that; I have a real aversion to clothing that flaps around unnecessarily. If you're a bit self-conscious about any extra pounds it might not be such a good idea because there's nowhere to hide here.
