Wilier

Dream Bike Dilemma

Okay, so I'm hoping for the advice of someone with a bit more experience at building bikes and selling components online than I have here.

For a while I've been looking at a Wilier Gran Turismo frameset and building it up to my own specs, as an upgrade from my current Trek 1.5, and I finally got a test ride on an Izoard XP a few weekends ago and now I'm pretty much sold on getting the GT. The problem is, apparently Wilier are sold out of the GT frameset in my size in both of the colours I like it in Crying

Bike Geometry Advice

Hi,

For a long time now I've had my eye on a Wilier Gran Turismo, and a couple of days ago I finally got around to talking to my LBS about it. However, there's a bit of a problem in that they can't get hold of one in my size for me to test Crying

They can get hold of an Izoard XP for me (for a small fee) which I could ride. Thing is the geometries on the Izoard and the Gran Turismo aren't exacly the same (links below)

FS: Wilier La Triestina Road Bike

Hi there guys - I've been asked by my dad to sell his Wilier as it's been replaced with a Surly (He's getting old!) so this one has to go.

It's a Large frame which suits most from about 5'10 - 6'3 (fairly short top tube).

Fantastic bike for those getting in to road cycling or wanting to upgrade to a smooth, italian racer.
The frame is Aluminium with carbon seat stays which, i'm told, give a really comfortable and zingy ride - Dad happily plods the miles on with this and hasn't moaned about it being uncomfy so it's got to be pretty good!
