Hiya
Have decided to sign up to the latest strava challenge. My understanding is that time spent on the rollers can count towards the mileage. I use a polar cs500 to record my data. Anyone know how to convert the data produced into a format that can be uploaded to the strava site?
Thanks

Cycle Training Videos

I have to spend quite a bit of time on a turbo trainer as i work 2 weeks at a time on an offshore oil rig.

I normally just spin to music but the other day i decided to watch a movie and i was able to go for much longer and i found it (almost) enjoyable.

I have found a few websites that sell training dvd's (sufferfest seems ok) there are also training films on TDF climbs etc.

Does anyone have any experience of these? is it a worthwhile investment? are they really just a load of shite? Thinking

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers

For many years we have gone to Majorca in April for a weeks training/holiday. Fancy something different next year has anyone been to any of the Riccione Bike Hotels at this time of year? Thanks

Ready for a century?

Hi all, long time voyeur, first new post.

I have been gradually building up road miles this year through commuting and the odd weekend ride. I am very tempted to try a 100 mile sportive(wiggle - South Downs) to top off this years cycling but not sure if I will be ready.

current effort(Ben Havill on strava):
twice weekly commute is 30 miles each way pushing myself at a pace of around 19mph avg - including London traffic.
Weekend ride on rolling Surrey hills ~ 40-50 miles, pushing it at 17mph.
