Good to see Pat and Chris from Sustrans on the Bristol-Bath cycle path today as I bimbled home on the last leg of a metric century. The boys were fundraising and apparently the Bath end of Sustrans' flagship traffic free route is the best place in the country to pick up new supporters, presumably the happy experience of being able to cycle 15 miles without getting cut up by a teenager in a Saxo puts people in a good enough mood to wish more of it on the nation...
