Halo 14T track cog
Halo’s CNC machined track sprockets make perfect companions for production fixed wheelsets thanks to plentiful sizes, bridging the gap between the cheap, poorly machined if functional oval type commonly spotted on converted winter hacks and hand polished exotica costing the lion’s share of £60. However, competition is very tight at this end of the market and some specialist brands including EAI offer marginally better detailing for similar money.
fixed/track sprocket?
got a bunch of fixed/track sprockets from a motorcycle jumble, one is worn and the rest are all unused, and one has three splines (see pic). Anyone know what kinda hub it would fit?, quick google search and all i found was a 6 splined affair that Miche make/made..
and more to the point does anyone want it? as i cant see me needing it...
EAI Gold Medal Premium sprocket
The EAI Gold Medal Premium sprocket is different. Most fixed sprockets are designed with bevelled teeth- slants designed to counteract imperfections in chain tension and/or chainline. However, these often make for a noisy transmission until they bed in.
