JODRELL BANK SUMMER SPORTIVE
This years Jodrell Bank Summer Sportive is on Saturday the 28th July. Last year it was a hugely popular with great weather and a large number of entries.
This year we have tweeked the routes keeping the best bits and improving on the rest. We have three routes 30 miles 60 mile and 100 miles, designed by experienced club cyclist. The route does not have any major climbs, it's mainly flat with a few small rolling hills.

I have a spare entry spot to BHF's London-Brighton sportive ride (17 June) available for purchase for £35.
The spare entry was for my wife who will be unable to ride because of some work commitments that have come up on that weekend.
BHF rules do not allow cancellation of entries, but do allow transferring them - hence this advert.

Irresponsibility on the road - it's not always the driver's
I appreciate the problems cyclist have with drivers of cars, lorries etc & the SMIDSY, but let's just see the other side of the problem, the cyclist themselves.
How many cyclist drive cars themselves & see stupidity such as riders running red lights when in TT mode either at junctions, or more especially, at road works, where they think they can nip in & out of the cones as approaching vehicles face them.
How many not so good at it `track stand' at junctions & traffic lights, risking falling over in the traffic.

Last call for the White Rose Classic!
The White Rose Classic, one of Yorkshire's premier cycle sportives is almost full with only just over 100 places left at the last count!
So if you are thinking of entering this fabulous event get your entries in quick.
Firmly established as one of cyclo-sportives 'must-do' events, and a true classic in every sense of the word, the event is planned to take place on the 17 June 2012.
Anyone done/doing Vätternrundan in Sweden in June?
Anyone doing this 300km jaunt this year? 
Looking for a group to work with.
If anyone has done it before, hints and tips appreciated.

Brand New Cyclosportive Manchester Chester Manchester Sat 12th May, Poynton Leisure Centre.
Three great routes 30 miles 60 miles and 100 miles. The routes have been designed by experienced local club cyclists and are on mostly quiet B roads.
We have all the usual features you would expect in a Sportive.
