Hi,

I am looking for new, hybrid bike that is good for commuting around 9 miles a day and the odd weekend longer ride.

So far I have the Giant Rapid and the Specialized Sirrus in mind. Does anyone have either of these two bikes and would recommend them? Or does anyone know of any other hybrids between £500-£800?

Winter bike project and downward marital pressure on my stable means I'm selling my 2011 (black) Aluminium Langster.

Owned from new, well looked after - has a few minor scuffs on the paintwork. No dents. Used for short commutes and trips about town. Never crashed. Probably done less that 500 miles.

The only flaw is a mark on the back of the seat-post where the clamp for my Carridice bag QR has dug into the paint / wrap.

Fitted with Crud Road Racer mudguards. The pedals in the picture are not included as the bearings are shot. I'll include the original plastic toe strap jobbies.

Specialized is recalling the forks on all iterations of the 2012 Tarmac SL4, 2013 Tarmac SL4, 2013 Crux and 2013 Secteur Disc bicycles and framesets. The forks are being recalled after a few instances of a carbon fiber steerer tube cracking breaking.

Hi,

This is the best women's road bike you can buy and it is in perfect condition. We're selling this bike as my wife was injured in a car accident and won't be able to ride for the forseeable future and unfortunately we need the money.

It has a 48cm frame
