It seems only yesterday that an aluminium bike weighing 9.8Kg and with Shimano's STI combined shift and gear levers would have cost close to £1,500. Here we are in 2010 and Specialized, who have been resolutely churning out racing bikes all through the bad years when only about ten a year were sold, find themselves in the middle of a veritable firestorm of enthusiasm and they are - as they say - good to go.

I am selling my 2007 Specialized Globe Expert hybrid to buy a bread delivery bike.

It has an aluminium frame, with carbon seatstays, forks and seatpost which make for a comfortable ride.
It is size 58cm
It has full rack mounts front and rear, along with SKS chromoplastic mudgaurds.
The bike is in good condition, and is completely structurally sound, though there are scuffs, scratches and paint chips as you would expect on a commuting bike.
I have just replaced the brake pads, and the transmission, brakes and all the bearings are all in good condition.
