So Cambridge police send plain clothes officers to nab cyclists who ride on the pavement and yet in this instance when selfish pricks driving their big stupid cars on the pavement outside a school it becomes "a matter for the schools and traffic wardens".
The idiots are winning.
I've just seen the Visteon e-Bee concept car which was on show at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. Apparently what drivers need are two "info-tainment" touch screens either side of the steering wheel. Is it really that much to ask that if you're driving, you're paying attention to the road?
I still remember the lecture my dad gave me when I first got my provisional driving licence: When I get behind the wheel, I'm responsible for a few tons of metal that can be as lethal as any weapon. So whenever I drive, I need to always give the road my utmost care and attention.
It's bad enough to see people driving a few tons of metal around whilst talking on their mobiles, but driving 10 tons whilst watching DVDs :
