Rose Xeon RS 3000
Last year Canyon's Ultimate Al rode away with a bike of the year gong, and the RS-3000 from German compatriots Rose is a cracking bike too. You can get a carbon bike for this kind of money but this is a ready-to-race weight and spec; just slap some pedals on and you can mix it straight out of the box. Aluminium is well and truly back, folks.
Upgrading a "cheap" bike
Hello,
My question is about upgrading a road bike. I intend to buy a fairly old road bike (gt force with that different frame shape around seat tube). Here's the deal, it is quite cheap and it comes with shimano 105 groupset (which I believe is good bargain for the price). Is that simple to upgrade the frame? You go buy a frame transfer all other components and that's it?
I hope I didn't make a mess out of it.
Thank you for any help.
Cheers.
BMC Granfondo GF02 105 (2013)
The BMC GF02 105 is BMC's take on the endurance/sportive bike category, joining the likes of Specialized and Trek in offering a more comfortable bike which can also be raced. Its carbon big brother – the GF01 – was developed with the northern classics in mind and has been raced there with success under the likes of Thor Hushovd and Taylor Phinney. Evidently, the race pedigree is there, but what remains to be seen is how this translates to the cheaper aluminium framed 02.
What do I need to do in order to build a road bike?
I would like to build a road bike from scratch but not mould the frame. My reasons for doing this are to a] get another bike b] learn about the bike & understand all of its parts c] while away any spare time & not have to converse with others d] third point is a joke. Any tips will be gratefully received.
Fuji Sportif 1.3 (2013)
Fuji's Sportif 1.3 does a good job of being a well-rounded all-round winter workhorse. The frame's good, new Sora is good, the wheels are good and the £700 all-in price (even cheaper online) is good. As a first sportive bike, a winter trainer or an all-year commuter it's definitely worth a look.

Felt F95 Large Frame 58cm Mens Road Bike for Sale North London
Large size 58cm road bike in monster green for sale.
Felt F95 2012, only 8 months old, been serviced at christmas. I have all the original documentation for the bike, plus the sevicing receipt.
Very good condition, only used to commute 5 miles daily, and kept inside. The whitet tyres and the white handlebar tape are slightly marked as would be expected.
....this is perfect entry level road bike very light and fast, and the brand is trendy.
The bike is great for being bright and visible on the road, and the wider set handlebars are very comfortable riding position.
