Pedros
Pedros Syn lube
Pedro's Syn Lube is designed for the winter months. A mid-weight fully synthetic chain oil that electrostatically bonds – apparently – with the chain. According to the blurb on their website the Synlube "includes extreme pressure additives and corrosion inhibitors to hold up to the harshest conditions."
Pedros Ice Wax lube
If you fancy a bit of robust knockabout fun on a bike forum, join a debate about chain lube. Some lubes are held up as Holy Unction and those which meet with displeasure are cast into the pit as the devil's own overpriced toe cheese. I've been stung too, buying a widely recommended and highly praised miracle lube only to find it about as much use as shampoo.
Pedros Chainj lube
I've tried loads of different chain lubes over the years but I've never really found one that I'm overly impressed with. The Pedro's ChainJ though is actually really good. Pedro's was started back in 1989 in New England with the main ethos being a passion for cycling and commitment to the environment. This still stands and the ChainJ is made from renewable materials, is biodegradable making it 'safe for the people and the planet.'
Pedros Tyre Levers
There’s no doubting Pedro’s levers are amongst the best I’ve come across, making short work of most tyre/rim combinations and very keenly priced to boot. However, they’re not as effective as telescopic designs on really tight beads and one of our test levers snapped clean in two while battling my expedition wheelset. Luckily, a lifetime, no quibble warrantee gives peace of mind.
