Get Britain Cycling petition heads towards halfway point - help spread the word!

Just a week after it was launched by The Times, the petition urging Prime Minister David Cameron to endorse the recommendations of the Get Britain Cycling report is already nearly halfway to hitting the 100,000 signatures that would make it eligible to be considered for debate in Parliament.

Government reportedly set to create new Office for Active Travel with budget of £1 billion

A new cross-departmental government body with a budget of £1 billion to invest in cycling and walking projects and possibly called the Office for Active Travel (OAT) is set to be announced in June, reports BikeBiz.
