Mudguards

SKS Commuter Hybrid Mudguard

Price:
£20.00

The commuter guards are among my favourite designs: simple, high quality PET construction and stainless fittings are just what you need from day to day mudguards. The 38-45mm hybrid width might seem a little broad for close clearance training frames but they were just slender enough to accommodate short reach callipers.

Tortec Reflector Mudguards

Price:
£27.99

Judging by our test pair, the Toretec Reflectors are serious contenders in the full- length mudguard hall of fame… if there is such a place.

Raceguard '09

Hi all..I am trying to contact anyone who bought an '09 Raceguard....the first batch had some tolerance problems resulting in a less-than-perfect clamping to the seatpost. If any of you suspect yours is faulty, don't hesitate to contact me on my website, www.crudproducts.com and I will send you a modified clamp by return.
Cheers, 'MR CRUD'

Mr Crud Crud Catcher 09

Price:
£9.99

The original... and still the best? Well certainly one of the best. The Crud rear Raceguard has has a bit of an overhaul this year (review coming soon) but the Crud Catcher got only a few minor tweaks, testament to the fact that there's not a lot that's broke about it. Okay it's not as effective as a full guard but sometimes you don't want (or can't fit) one of those, and it's an excellent solution for many bikes.

Four reasons why overtrousers are better than mudguards

1) overtrousers don't break when you're trying to get your bike in the boot

2) If your overtrousers rub on your wheel, you don't need a spanner to make them stop

3) if you get a stone jammed in your overtrousers you don't end up in a hedge

4) it doesn't take half an hour to put your overtrousers on
