Commuter diaries - new fenders

Went for a ride yesterday and got absolutely soaked in the horrendous weather. Many thanks to the guys at MountainBikes.GBR for sorting me out with some guards half way around my ride. www.mountainbikesgbr.co.uk

Commuter diaries - winterising my bike

Just fitted some new Mr Crud, Road Racer guards to my single speed ready for winter. I am running 700c x 24 and the guards seem to fit really well, I will write a full report after a bit of use and some rain! 20 mins to fit and adjust accordingly and ready to go, with some style and function.

It seems weird to be winterising with guards, lights and kit when we have had little summer! At least September has been awesome! New additions to my winter kit will include a new USE Spark (a light you can dip while commuting!) and an Oxford fully waterproof commuter bag.
