FS - Cannondale F600 SL Mountain Bike Frame (2004) - Small

I bought this frame off a police stolen goods auction 5-6 years ago

Great condition, clearly hardly been used by the original owner (see photo of the drop outs) and for me it was a project that never got off the ground (back of a cupboard since).

Details -
Cannondale Optimo frame (small)
Headshock SL fork
Shimano Hollowtech triple chainset
Alu seatpost and Fizik saddle

Saddle Seatpost and Chainset came with it.

Farewell to Summer Part 1

Taking advantage of the recent good weather and the potential for exploration in the Lakes (now my backyard), I spent the week scheming and planning a little adventure of my own. This would be a weekend to remember.

Must do off road routes near Reading?

Have entered the Hellrider in West Wycombe, am staying near Reading for a few days. Have visited but not cycled in 'The Look Out' any good routes that would make a good warm up for the event? Any good routes in the general area. We normally ride on Exmoor and Dartmoor and are not beginners! We are using cyclocross and mountain bikes. Thanks for any ideas!

FS: Kona Lana'i

I know it's not a road bike I know it's not even a very good mountain bike but if anyone wants it they are welcome to it.

Bought less than a year ago from Evans for £225. I've been out on it a few times only once off road which was too much like hard work, I think I'll stick to the tarmac.

20" 2009 Kona Lana'i slight cosmetic damage - spec is as new. Working on some pics if anyone's interested

£100

I'm in South Wales for collection or can arrange delivery but will have to look into that if required

Buying, building and riding Britain's cheapest bike

Mark Brown from the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) has been in touch to share his experiences on buying and riding Asda's £70 British Eagle Tulsa, Britain's cheapest adult bicycle. Or, at least, Britain's cheapest BSO: Bicycle Shaped Object. Perhaps not surprisingly, it ain't all good news.

My day with the dark side...

Its been an odd week readers. After the "Flat out in the Fens" sportive last week I have done a couple of short rides and a bit of relaxing pre-holiday (which is why I am writing, not riding on a Sunday morning).

Yesterday though the yearn to get up at the crack of dawn and ride my bike was too strong to resist and so, inspired by the beautiful photographs and adventurous articles in Road.cc's sister publication "Singletrack World", I packed the barely used mountain bike in the car and headed for Rutland Water.
